By creating an account or using Palatte (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Palatte is a dish-first food discovery platform where users can discover, review, and bookmark dishes at restaurants. Restaurant and dish information may be generated or enriched with AI. We do not take reservations, process payments, or operate any restaurant.
You must be 13 years or older to use Palatte.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may delete your account at any time from your profile page.
You retain ownership of reviews, ratings, and text you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Palatte a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it as part of the Service.
User Content must be honest and based on genuine experience. You must not:
The menu scan feature sends uploaded images to Anthropic's AI for text extraction. Only scan menus you have permission to photograph. Do not upload documents containing personally identifiable information unrelated to menus.
We may remove any User Content that violates these Terms without notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or abusively.
Dish and restaurant information on Palatte may be AI-generated or user-submitted. We do not guarantee its accuracy. Always verify details (allergens, prices, hours) directly with the restaurant before visiting.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Palatte is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on dish or restaurant information. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which for a free service is zero).
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of Palatte after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
